from all her fears
all those tears
from all those years
she’s dappled gray
from her own mind
setting her apart
from all mankind

with her broken spirit
and nobody cares enough to hear it
she's dappled grey;
from the scars on her arm
constant reminder of her selfharm
she's dappled gray;
hips showing clear
ribs sticking out
death is so near
she's dappled gray
from the cracks in her heart
wishing her life would
simply restart
she's dappled gray,
but she still is strong
she still is here
fighting her way along
